History on the Double

St Brigid’s Boxing Club Edenderry was established in 1933 and has trained many outstanding boxers down through the years. However, 2012 is the year when the club created history on the double.

The club officially opened for the new season on Monday, 3rd September 2012 and for the first time in its history girls joined the club.

Mission Statement

What We Stand For

Boxing Club strives to provide the highest quality boxing experience through a few key elements.

  • The best introductory program for new members.
  • The best possible existing member experience.
  • Continue to host our popular international sparring camps which include all levels and genders of boxing from Novice, Juniors, Youth all the way up to the Elite class.
  • To keep membership fees to a minimum so the club is accessible to all young kids from all walks of life.
  • To create a place where kids can come and feel a part of something, in a sense of a home away from home atmosphere.
  • Where champions and non champions are all champions in their own way.

Non Profit Organisation

Membership From €20 a Year

St Brigid’s Boxing Club Edenderry runs as a non-profit organisation. Group lessons for community members are €40 a year for over 11s and €20 a year for under 11s.

Your support will go directly to keeping our club doors open and offering membership at the lowest level, so that every child and teenager could have access. We believe it will make an everlasting difference in the lives of children and youth in our community.
